Loralee Kesler 1st Vice-President e-mail

Loralee has been active in YEU for 14 years. She began by helping establish Local Y017, and served as a Director and President for 3 terms.

She was elected Director on the YEU Executive at the 2002 Convention.

In 2005 she became 1st Vice-President, and was re-elected at the triennial convention in 2008. Delegates to the 2008 Convention voted unanimously to make the office of 1st Vice-President a paid full-time position within YEU. Loralee is therefore the first person to serve in that capacity. She remains a Shop Steward at her workplace with Health & Social Services/ Continuing Care.

Loralee has taken part in two PSAC National Conventions in – Montreal (2003) and Toronto (2006). On both occasions she participated on convention committees where cross-Canada issues were debated and brought to the convention floor. Contact Loralee: 633-3416; email: lkesler@yeu.ca
