Each union local has a network of stewards who voluntarily serve their fellow workers by advising them of their rights and responsibilities under the Collective Agreement, resolving problems, handling grievances and educating fellow workers about policies of their union.

Stewards are located in various departments or areas of your workplace. Study your collective agreement with the assistance of your local steward. S/he can assist you in interpreting your agreement or in understanding policies in the workplace.
